Residential Concrete work and Stamped Concrete
This project included 3 different homes in the same area. They had driveways replaced, some sidewalk, steps and even a stamped concrete portion. This was a large multi-day job. Each property required extensive removal of old concrete, steps and sidewalks. Then the gravel and forms needed to be built before concrete could be poured. Most of the work was only standard concrete, however, one house had stamped concrete installed.
Stamped concrete, also known as imprinted or textured concrete, is the product of an innovative and creative process generally applied on concrete work for driveways, sidewalks, and patios. This process allows the concrete to have a distinct pattern and color to make it decorative.
The procedure of stamping concrete not only includes decorative elements to the concrete floor but also enhances strength.
Depending on preference, a variety of patterns and colors can be used when stamping the concrete. The process is reasonably priced, which makes it a decorative option compared to granite or interconnecting bricks which are deemed pricier.
